Terms for Warranty Claims and Contract Withdrawal
These general warranty and product return terms and conditions apply to the MaxyHome.eu/si/at/de/hr/cz/sk/it online store, operated by Lorin6 d.o.o., located at Bežigrajska cesta 9, 3000 Celje (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”).
Exercising the Right to Withdraw from the Purchase
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), consumers have the right to inform the seller of their withdrawal from a distance contract within 14 days without providing a reason. The withdrawal statement is considered timely if it is sent within the specified withdrawal period. In this context, a consumer is defined as a natural person who acquires or uses goods or services for purposes outside their professional or gainful activity. Legal entities do not have the right to withdraw from the contract under ZVPot.
The buyer may request the following from the seller: exchange for another product, store credit, partial or full refund of the purchase price. The cost of returning the product is fully borne by the buyer according to the applicable postal rates. The buyer cannot request reimbursement of additional costs that may arise if the buyer consciously chooses a different type of shipment other than the standard shipment or a different delivery service other than the most cost-effective one. The return of the product must be made no later than 14 days from the withdrawal from the sales contract. The product must be unused, undamaged, in its original packaging, and in an unchanged quantity, unless the consumer is not responsible for the destruction, loss, reduction in quantity, or damage to the product.
Products should be sent as a package without cash on delivery to the following address: Lorin6 d.o.o., Bežigrajska cesta 9, 3000 Celje. A copy of the invoice and a completed goods return form must be included with the package.
This right does not apply to products made to order, i.e., according to explicit customer requests and requirements.
The buyer may inspect and test purchased products only to the extent necessary to determine their actual condition. If you believe that the product is not working correctly or does not meet your expectations, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or the phone number provided on the website. Our advisors will be happy to provide additional information to help you avoid improper use of the product, damage to the product, or potential damage to other objects. The burden of proof regarding the exercise of the right rests with the consumer.
In the event that the seller determines, during the return process or after receiving the product, that the returned goods are damaged or that the returned quantity does not match, the buyer is responsible for the decrease in the value of the goods if it is a result of handling that is not necessary to determine the characteristics, value, and operation of the goods. Despite the reduced value of the goods due to the consumer’s actions, the seller cannot deprive the consumer of the right to withdraw from the contract and thus the refund of the purchase price.
In the event of withdrawal from the contract and if the purchase price has already been paid for the purchased product, the company will refund the received payments immediately, or no later than 30 days after receiving notice of the withdrawal from the contract. The seller will refund the payments received to the buyer using the same payment method that the consumer used for the payment, unless the consumer expressly requested the use of another payment method and does not incur any additional costs as a result.
For products available in the online store, warranty terms are applicable in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot). Goods have a warranty if it is indicated on the warranty certificate or invoice. The warranty is valid when the instructions on the warranty certificate are followed, and the invoice is presented.
For the product return form or warranty claims, please contact us at email@example.com. Please follow the instructions on the form to complete the process.
General Conditions for Warranty Claims
For products that come with a warranty, the supplier or manufacturer of the product determines the general conditions for warranty claims. The customer must claim the warranty directly from the guarantor, which is the product manufacturer unless otherwise specified during the process.
The seller provides the following recommendations for handling products to avoid damage:
- Greenhouses, garage tents, or garden sheds should be regularly ventilated and cleared of snow or ice. Similarly, during snowy conditions, snow or ice should be removed from awnings and pergolas.
- Greenhouses, garage tents, sheds, or canopies should be assembled, installed, and anchored to the ground or building correctly.
- Do not clean greenhouses, garage tents, sheds, or canopies with invasive cleaning agents, and do not expose them to chemicals in any other way.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by third parties or other damages over which the seller or product manufacturer had no control. The warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from improper use or maintenance of the product. The warranty does not apply to damages resulting from adverse weather conditions, negligent use, or improper assembly.
Customers must inspect the goods upon delivery and immediately report any discovered defects or damage to the product, along with any specific circumstances that occurred during delivery. If possible, customers should write notes regarding damages or defects on the delivery note and provide it to the delivery service.
